  First launched in 2000, Festival Hue is a biennial celebration that is one of the biggest attractions on the cultural calendar with a diverse program of theatre, music, dance, circus art and puppetry. The festival presents a range of work by visiting artists from international countries in addition to showcasing dance and music performances of the Hue court with traditional Hue singing and dancing.  Day 1: ( L,D)

Morning: Depart to Phuoc Tich. The ancient village of Phuoc Tich is surrounded by O Lau River, bordering with QuangTri Province and around 40 km north of Hue city.

It is considered an untouched and valuable ancient village, not only in Central Vietnam but the whole country as well. It remains 27 "Nha Ruong" (Hue's old styled houses) and gardens, 12 of which own architecturally and aesthetically special values.

Visit PhuocTich Ancient Village, some typical ancient houses, local people, a pottery workshop, learn bout the manufacturing process of pottery items by local artisans. Have lunch at a villager's house

Afternoon:

Take a boat ride on O Lau River and admire the village's landscape. Then wander around the village (on foot or by bike), see some adaily activities of locals such as noodle, jam and confectionary making etc. Have dinner with local dishes prepared by local people. Overnight stay at ancient houses in the village. 

Day 2:( B,L)

Morning: Depart Hue to Quang Dien. Quang Dien is a district north of ThuaThienHueProvince, around 15 km far from the city centre, borders with South China Sea in the north east. It has a total coastline of 12 km with many stunning beaches, and its Tam Giang Lagoon has the largest area of more than 3.500 ha in the province.

Walk around in Ngu My Thanh Village, one of the typical fishing villages of the District, and discover daily life and fishing activities of villagers. Then learn about the making of fish nets by local women in the village.

Tourists can join activities of a floating market (people trade in seafood on boats) in early morning in Ngu My Thanh Village (Tourists have to get up early  and depart at Phuoc Tich at 5 am).

Take a boat ride across the lagoon, visit aquaculture premises, observe and participate in some fishing activities together with fishermen.

Cross Tam Giang Lagoon at Vinh Tu Wharf, have a rest and go swimming in Tan My beach by motorcycles. Stop for a while to visit an area of tombs in Quang Ngan Commune, one of the spirit cultural features of local people. Have lunch of seafood caught at Tam Giang Lagoon.

Afternoon:

Continue to discover daily life of rural people in nearby handicraft villages (bamboo weaving and conical hat making etc) and some agricultural activities (rice and vegetable cultivation) Go back toHue and finish the journey.

Sáng 3/2, tại thị trấn Tiên Lãng, ông Vũ Hồng Chuân, Trưởng ban Tuyên giáo huyện, đã phổ biến thông tin vụ cưỡng chế cho cán bộ, đảng viên của huyện. Dưới đây là phần lược trích: Xung quanh vụ việc này, trên mạng đã đưa ra những thông tin hoàn toàn không đúng bản chất sự việc. Thứ nhất, giao đất và cho thuê đất là hai vấn đề khác nhau. Trường hợp của ông Đoàn Văn Vươn, nguồn gốc đất thuê là đất chưa sử dụng, tạm giao có thời hạn, không thuộc quỹ đất sản xuất nông nghiệp giao lâu dài. Kể cả đất nuôi trồng thủy sản giao theo Nghị định 64 thì hạn điền cũng không quá 2 ha, nhưng hộ ông Vươn tới 40,3 ha. Ở đây có một sự nhầm lẫn. Thậm chí cả một số quan chức ở trung ương về hưu vẫn cứ nói đây là đất sản xuất nông nghiệp nên phải giao cho người ta 20 năm. Day 3 – 08^th Apr 2012: Cyclo around Hue to visit Nguyen Palace & see Nam Giao Cemeromy - Prayers of Heaven (BL)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you make a cyclo tour to visit the Citadel where includes Five Phoenix Tower, Thai Hoa Palace, Mieu Temple, Nine Urn Dynasty… to learn more of Nguyen Palace in the past. Then you go on visiting Dong Ba market on cyclo the right place to witness Hue's food and culture. Here you will also impress with the maintenance of ancient characteristics, with the local handicraft - conical hats as a sample. Have lunch at restaurant. Day 5 – 10^th Apr 2012: Agricultural Life and Rural Market In Thanh Toan Tile - Royal Night (BL)

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning guide will take you to get a bike to the rural market-Thanh Toan Bridge. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city life behind, you ride a bike leisurely on a green shaded road. On either side of the road are verdant casuarinas trees, paddy fields, canals and pasturing buffalos.

You can chat with kind-hearted rural people. Located among vast paddy rice fields and villages, Thanh Toan arched, covered wooden bridge is a highlight with an architectural feature "Thượng gia hạ kiều"(house above, bridge underneath) that you cannot miss. This is an ancient architectural structure of historical and cultural values, built in 1776. You can mix with rural market-days which offer a variety of rural products for sale such as Thuy Tan sticky rice, Thuy Duong rice wine, then common food such as Tay, U cakes, corn, lotus seed sweet soups etc and popular delicacies of Hue of sticky rice with braised pork, chopped lemongrass and pork, roasted sesame, Hue cakes. Have lunch with local dishes prepared by local people. In the afternoon you will visit a museum of agricultural tools. You can see objects on display such as ploughs, sickles, hoes, rice-hulling mills and pictures of wet rice civilizations. Day 7 – 12^th Apr 2012: Visiting Thanh Tien flouver & Tam Giang Lagune "Hue, new experience tours" (BL)

7h30: About 5km from Hue city, on downstream of Huong River and opposite the ancient town of Bao Vinh, you go with the guide of Huetourist by car to Thanh Tien village. This place is famous for its traditional craft of making paper flowers that has gone on for about four hundred years. You will see the authentic local work and participate, there, with co – working.

9h30: Continue by car to explore Sinh Village, hearing the story "tunnel digging to painting" of artist Ky Huu Phuoc.

10h30: Then transfer to Duong No and visit the Ho Chi Minh memorial house to know about Ho Chi Minh's history

11h30: You continue the visit by the Thanh Toan Bridge and Agriculture museum to know more about the daily life of the villager.

12h00: You go back to the city or continue the afternoon half day tour to Tam Giang lagoon. Lunch in the town.
